Annual Events in Trawden, Lancashire
There’s always something happening in Trawden, Lancashire, with a fantastic calendar of annual events throughout the year. From the popular Trawden Tractor Run in June and the Trawden Scarecrow and Garden Festival in July, to the much-loved Trawden Agricultural Show on the second Sunday in August, the village comes alive with community spirit and visitors from near and far.

Trawden Tractor Run - June
June sees the return of the much-loved Trawden Tractor Run, when a fantastic collection of vintage, classic and modern tractors take to the roads.
The colourful convoy winds its way through the surrounding countryside and into the village, giving visitors the chance to admire these impressive machines in all their glory. It’s a brilliant community event and a particular favourite with families, farming enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a little bit of rural nostalgia.
Trawden Scarecrow & Garden Festival - July
The first week of July brings the popular Trawden Scarecrow & Garden Festival, when the village becomes a wonderful outdoor gallery of creativity.
Take a leisurely stroll around Trawden and discover imaginative scarecrows, beautiful gardens and plenty of quirky surprises along the way. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore the village, enjoy the countryside and see the creativity and community spirit that makes Trawden so special.

Trawden Agricultural Show - August
August is showtime in Trawden!
The Trawden Agricultural Show is a fantastic annual event and a highlight of the local calendar. With something for all ages, the show celebrates the area’s agricultural heritage and rural community, with animals, displays, competitions, entertainment, stalls, food and plenty more to enjoy throughout the day.
The weekend gets underway on the Friday with the popular Trawden Shindig, bringing live music, entertainment and a fantastic festival atmosphere to the village before the main event on Sunday.
It’s a brilliant weekend for locals and visitors alike and a great opportunity to experience the warm community spirit that Trawden is famous for.
Trawden Music & Beer Festival - September
September brings another much-anticipated event – the Trawden Music & Beer Festival at Trawden Arms Community Pub.
Enjoy a lively weekend filled with live music, local beers, craft ales and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s a celebration of great music, good company and the best of the local community, attracting visitors from across Lancashire and beyond.
With plenty of local places to stay, including rooms at the pub, cottages and the fabulous Trawden glamping, it's a perfect time for a weekend away!
